Learn how to connect Splitit and BlueSnap to allow customers to split the costs of their transactions.

Requirements

BlueSnap account

You must have a BlueSnap account. If you need one, go to the BlueSnap website.

Splitit account

You must have a Splitit account. If you need one, go to the Splitit website.

PCI compliance

No additional PCI level is required for this integration.

Splitit Setup

Step 1: Configure your BlueSnap account settings

Please complete these steps in your Merchant Portal.

  1. First, set up your statement descriptor, which is the description that appears on the shopper's credit card or bank statement for each transaction to help them identify the purchase.

    Go to Settings > General Settings. In the Branding Settings section, enter a Default Statement (Soft) Descriptor and Support Phone Number (both appear on the shopper's credit card or bank statement). When you're done, click Submit.

  2. Get your BlueSnap API user key and password. For instructions, refer to API Credentials.

  3. Add the following Splitit IPs to your BlueSnap account (either Sandbox or Production depending on the environment you are using):

    Splitit Sandbox IP: 3.221.230.245
    Splitit Production IPs: 3.218.134.142 and 54.236.135.229

  4. To get paid, you must configure your payout settings. Refer to Payout for more information.

Step 2: Configure Splitit

Once you create your API credentials with Splitit, they will be able to set up the connection to your BlueSnap account. You can visit the Splitit documentation to learn more about configuring your Splitit account.
