Custom Reporting
BlueSnap's Custom Reporting feature lets you create, manage, and run your own reports. You start from one of our available report categories and select the specific columns you want to include in your custom report. For example, you might wish to create a transaction data report that includes only the columns you're interested in, such as the Merchant Transaction ID, and the transaction amount, currency, and date.
This ability to fully customize your reports is a feature available through the Custom Reporting API and through the Merchant Portal. Using the API will allow you to manage and run your custom reports directly from your application, while using the Merchant Portal provides a simple, drag-and-drop interface to manage and run your reports.
Note: There is a limit of 50 custom reports per account, regardless of whether you are using the API or the Merchant Portal.
Out-of-the-box reporting features
BlueSnap provides numerous reporting features out-of-the-box. For example, we offer 50+ pre-built reports, a comprehensive dashboard to view recent account activity, and much more. For details, see Standard Reporting.

When you create your custom report, you start with one of the categories below as the foundation of your report and then you specify which of its columns to include.

Custom Reports in the Merchant Portal
Building and managing custom reports is made simple in the Merchant Portal through an intuitive drag and drop interface.
Accessing custom reports is similar to accessing standard reports. Go to Account Activity > Reports on the lefthand side in the Merchant Portal. You will see a page with several icons representing different types of reports - select the icon on the right that says Custom Reports.
Once selected, you will see any existing custom reports that you may have previously authored, with edit and delete icons next to each. If you have not created a custom report previously, you will only see the text "Add new reports based on" with available categories Transaction Category and Payout Category listed underneath.
To author a new custom report, select one of the available categories. Once you choose, a UI will open that will allow you to choose from the available columns (see Transaction and Payout pages to see a list of supported columns).
You can drag, drop and arrange the columns as you like. Once complete, populate the title and info fields for the custom report, then Save or Run the report.
Note: There is a 50-character limit on the title and a 250-character limit on the info field. Illegal characters are as follows: '"&<>#/=!\
