Surcharges

A surcharge is an additional fee supported by BlueSnap Checkout that can be added to a transaction when your customer uses their card to complete a sale. You might use this fee to cover your costs related to card payments.

If surcharging is enabled, the system will determine whether a surcharge is applicable when the shopper enters their card information. If applicable, the appropriate surcharge fee will be automatically displayed as a separate line item and added to the total. A disclosure message will also appear to notify the shopper about the added surcharge.
