Items represent the products and services that you offer. They allow you to create detailed quotes and invoices by listing the products, services, and (if applicable) usage. If you're connected to an accounting system, your Items are imported into your AR Automation account automatically. If you're not connected to an accounting system, you can manually create items in your AR Automation account.
Items and Subscriptions
If you modify or delete an Item in your accounting system, make sure to update any applicable AR Automation subscriptions. For example, if you delete an item, update any subscriptions so they no longer use that Item.
If you're not connected to an accounting system, you can manually create Items in your AR Automation account by going to Settings > Items and completing the steps below.
Click New Item.
Enter your item settings:
- Item Name
- Item Type - Select Product or Service.
- Measured Unit - If applicable, select one option from your list of Measured Units.
- Usage-Based - Select this option if the item is usage-based.
- Click Save.
