Set Up Automation Rules (Cadences)

A cadence is a series of communication rules used to trigger emails, SMS, letters, and call reminders based on the age, status, or balance of customers and invoices. You can completely customize each step in a cadence, and you can set cadences to be sent automatically or only after approval.

Choose one of our pre-written cadences to edit or create your own. For instructions, refer to Cadences.

You assign cadences to customers and to invoices. Applying a cadence to a customer automatically assigns all current and new invoices for that customer to the selected cadence. Change or remove customer and invoice cadences at any time. Paid invoices are automatically removed from a cadence.
