BlueSnap offers multiple flexible solutions to help you create a checkout experience that is right for your business:
- BlueSnap Checkout — Our low-code hosted solution so you can launch your site quickly. Hosted Pages, Virtual Terminal, and Payment Link help you begin processing transactions with minimal effort.
- Payment API — Our collection of RESTful endpoints that you can call to process payments from your website. This solution gives you full control over the checkout experience so you can use your branding, checkout flows, and other customizations. The Payment API is ideal for merchants who already have an online store that collects payment information and needs BlueSnap for processing.
- AR Automation — Our accounts receivable (AR) solution that automates and streamlines your AR processes.

PCI Compliance and SAQ Level
Note
On March 31, 2025, the new PCI 4.0 requirements become effective. Requirements 6.4.3 and 11.6.1 mandate merchants to authorize and scan every script that runs on their checkout pages.
If you are currently using one of these solutions, then no further action is necessary:
- Hosted Pages (SAQ A)
- Payment Link (SAQ A)
- Virtual Terminal (SAQ C-VT)
- Hosted Payment Fields (SAQ A)
BlueSnap ensures there are no malicious scripts running on these payment pages, or we implement a tamper-detection mechanism.
All SAQ-D merchants (clear card data users) need additional scans and monitoring to stay compliant. If you would like to know more about how BlueSnap can help you stay compliant, reach out to your account manager or our merchant support team.

All sensitive payment data is captured in the BlueSnap environment. |
| Secured Payment Collector | SAQ AEP | Merchants that use the Payment API can use these secure input fields to capture shopper data and encrypt it on their server. Because the sensitive payment data is captured within your server, the PCI compliance is SAQ AEP. Note: Secured Payment Collector collects both card and ACH data, but it is optimized to collect ACH. BlueSnap recommends that you use Hosted Payment Fields to collect card data for SAQ A. |
